Dragon Gate Mall celebrated its grand opening with the theme "It Will Never Be the Same Again" on March 28 on the square of Dragon Gate Mall. Henry Cheung, the general manager gave a speech to thank everyone for his continuous support for Dragon Gate Mall.

A series of east-meets-west performances made for a magnificent atmosphere. Chinese traditional boutique dance delivered an unforgettable drum-dance scene in the movie "House of Flying Daggers". Then the up-and-coming popular band TOGI+BAO thrilled the audiences with their creative performances, in which the Chinese flute and stringed instruments are blended with modern synthesizers and orchestra instruments to create a moody, elegant and very romantic soundtrack. Inspiring Paso Double, exotic Cha-Cha and assorted jazz dance from Australian's Dansinn Dance Studios also enlivened the stage. The Phoenix Show from Austria ushered the party to its climax. They performed the most exciting chapter "Phoenix Fire + Pyro XS" and combined fire, lighting effects and fireworks as well as impressive backdrops. With lights blazing, colored fireworks soaring into the sky and audiences cheering, signaled the beginning of "The New Yu Yuan Era".
